1967 Yamaha YM2C Big Bear

Restored by HVCcycle  2009/2010

We received this motorcycle in  plastic tubs and a large garbage can. The motorcycle was all torn apart and the crank shaft was still stuck into the right case half. The engine and transmission were also in pieces, The left Case had to be welded and machined due to a failed kick starter gear that cracked the case. The frame and body work were already re-painted by the customer. This is not a 100% restoration as a lot of the chrome parts are still original, the customer requested some of the small dings to remain in the front fender, and exhaust shields to keep the bike more authentic.

We did perform a 100% restoration on the engine, seat and many other items.

Restored Speedometer and Tachometer.  It took parts from 3 different meters to get this one back to working order.
